Gaynor is a digital renaissance artist : singer, composer, musician, painter, film maker & performer. She works in the interface between live & digital, virtual & physical, focusing on her philosophy of unity & interconnection, her work has built her reputation as an eclectic, brave, independent artist.
Gaynor O’Flynn questions how we perceive, value & receive music, performance & art in a digital age. Examining the traditional boundaries between industry standard pop music, sonic art, pop video, film & digital art installation. Gaynor challenges the restrictions & boundaries that we consider the norm & performs her music, video art & installation in an art gallery context.
She mashes up music, performance, film, movement & sound using lo fi & hi fo techniques to create unique multi media happenings. Previous happenings included playing 22 stages in one Glastonbury weekend & a live internet performance from the Himalayas.
Gaynor works independently, forging links with other independent souls, galleries & venues, selling her art direct to those who love her work.
